I am so thrilled to introduce a completely new way to craft! This project has been a labor of love since I joined The Woobles, and I am so proud to see it finally go LIVE. 🚀

Our goal was to develop a quick, accessible, and fun activity for the whole family. After years of dedicated yarn development and design, and with the incredible support of my team, I am honored to present: Loopables by The Woobles!

The Challenge: Lowering the Barrier to Entry

The crafting market is robust, but traditional yarn crafts like crochet and knitting have a significant learning curve that can intimidate newcomers. Our market research identified a huge opportunity for a product that offered the satisfaction of creating a plushie with almost zero friction—no new skills, no complex patterns, and no extra tools required.

The Solution: Innovating the Yarn Itself

The core innovation was the development of our proprietary Easy Peasy Loopable Yarn™. I led the material science and design teams through hundreds of iterations to create a yarn that was soft, durable, and featured perfectly spaced, pre-formed loops. This eliminated the need for a hook entirely. The process became simple and tactile. We designed a launch lineup of three distinct characters to ensure broad appeal and supported the launch with a multi-channel marketing strategy aimed at both new and existing customers.

The Outcome: A New Market Captured

The Loopables launch was an unqualified success, creating an entirely new revenue stream and validating our core hypothesis: an easier entry into crafting would attract a new audience. The launch didn't just sell a product; it expanded the brand's market share overnight.
